Plastids store energy in the form of starch and proteins and act as factories for the production of other molecules such as amino acids etc. 

Leucoplasts which are a type of plastids are involved with the storage of fats, oils and protein granules in plants. Accordingly, they are three types,  

1. Fats and oils storing - Elaioplasts
2. Protein storing - Eleuroplasts 
3. Starch storing - Amyloplasts
