Detailed Solution

The positively charged particles are called alpha particles.  Two protons and two neutrons are joined together to form an object called an alpha particle that resembles a helium-4 nucleus.
They can also be created in various ways, although typically they are created during the alpha decay process.
The  helium-4 nucleus contains the sole alpha particle.
The presence of two protons ensures that an alpha particle always has a charge of +2, despite the fact that only the nucleus—not the electrons—is released.
