The pH value for aqueous solution of potassium hydroxide is more than 7.  pH is the measure of the acidity or basicity of a solution based on the concentration of the hydrogen ions in it. pH value less than 7 indicates the solution is acidic, more than 7 shows the solution is basic and if equals 7 then the solution is neutral. KOH is a strong base and dissociates completely in an aqueous solution and K+ and OH- ions are formed. The pH range of KOH ranges between 11 to 13.
