a

It must have some K.E. at B to reach A

b

It need not have any K.E. at B to reach A

c

to reach A it must have more than or equal to 4 eV K. E. at B.

d

when it will reach A, it will have K.E. more than or at least equal to 4 eV if it was released from rest at B.

Detailed Solution

Potential at A is 3 volts. Potential at B is 7 volt.

Electric field should be in the direction from B to A. So, the force on the electron will be towards B.

For electron to go from B to A, work must be done. So, it must have some KE  at B to reach A.

Minimum kinetic energy must be required at B to overcome the electrostatic force to move from B to A.

Wmin=Kmin=7-3 eV=4 eV
