Detailed Solution

Power can be shared among different organs of government known as the Legislature, Executive and Judiciary. Power-sharing is the process of division of powers between the different organs so that each organ has a definite power assigned to it and it can not abuse or misuse its powers. This is maintained through checks and balances which arise as a result of power-sharing itself. The different organs check or prevent the others from exceeding their authority and thus maintains a balance of powers. Such as the Judiciary even when appointed by the Executive can review its actions just as the Executive holds the responsibility to the Legislature.
