Temperature and pressure have a great effect on matters. Matters change from one state to another due the changes in temperature and pressure. The temperature has an effect on solids, liquids and gases.

Pressure has no effect on solids. On applying pressure solid cannot be converted into liquid or gas. When the pressure is applied to gas it gets converted into liquid. When a large amount of pressure is applied to liquids it gets converted into solids.
