PRI won elections in Mexico by following unfair means for winning elections.
Mexico since its independence in 1930 held elections every six years, but there was a great deal of unfair practices being used by the ruling party to win the elections. Until 2000 all the elections were won by only one party named PRI ( Institutional Revolutionary Party), despite the availability of opposition parties too. Media was largely controlled by the PRI government and they usually used to criticise the opposition, neglecting all of their other activities. Such unfair means helped them to always win elections.
