Detailed Solution

Johannes Gutenberg invented the printing press. As far as we know, Johannes Gutenberg invented the world's first printing press in the late 1430s. As a master of stone polishing, Gutenberg could adapt existing technology to create his own. The Bible was the first book to be printed using the new system. Despite introducing new technology, the art of hand-making books was not completely displaced. When books were printed for the wealthy, there was a lot of white space on the page that could be decorated. From 1450 to 1550, printing presses were established in most European countries. The printing revolution was sparked by the transition from hand to mechanical printing.
