Prithviraj III defeated Muhammad Ghori in 1191 AD near Taraori. In this battle(Battle of Tarain 1191 AD), Prithviraj and other Rajput kings came together, resulting in the defeat of Mohd. Ghori. That was possible because, at that time, there was good bonding between Rajput kings, and they did not let anyone outside India attack or invade India. Mohd. Ghori was a Turkish, and he wanted to get control over India. It was the second Turkish invasion of India.
