Who is known as the father of genetics?

Gregor Mandal is the father of genetics who has contributed to the development of the subject matter of genetics. He was known to have conducted many experiments on various plants. He had explained the concept of heredity and inheritance with the help of these plants, especially the pea plant. By using these experiments the present scientists can understand the flow of genes from one generation to another generation.
