Given, Rajni and Mohini deposited ₹ 3000 and ₹ 4000 in a company at the rate of 10% per annum for 3 years and 2.5 years respectively.

The amount received by Rajini = deposited amount + \frac{rate}{100} \times time \times amount

= 3000 + \frac{10}{100} \times 3 \times 3000

= 3000 + 900
The amount received by Rajini is ₹ 3900.

The amount received byMohini = deposited amount + \frac{rate}{100} \times time \times amount

= 4000 + \frac{10}{100} \times 2.5 \times 4000

= 4000 + 1000
The amount received by Mohini is ₹ 5000.
The difference in the amount they receive is 5000 - 3900 = ₹ 1100.
