Ramu is employed half a year and unemployed for rest of the year. 

Ramu is a farmer and farming is done untill the crops are grown and sown. Ramu work for 6 months and after crops are harvested he has to wait months for the crops to grown again and during this passage of time ramu is unemployed. In this way ramu is employed half a year and unemployed for the rest of the year.
