Let the cost price of the motorcycle for Ravish be Rs.x.
The selling price (CP) is,

SP = CP 100 − loss % 100

Where CP is cost price.

⇒ SP = x 100 − 28 % 100 ⇒ SP = 72 x 100

The selling price of the motorcycle for Ravish = Cost price of the motorcycle for Vineet Money spent on repaiRs. =Rs.1680
Therefore, the total cost price of the motorcycle for Vineet

= Rs . 72 x 100 + 1680

The selling price of the motorcycle for Vineet =Rs.35910

⇒ profit % =12 . 5 % ⇒ SP = CP 100 + profit % 100 ⇒ 35910 = 72 x 100 + 1680 12.5 + 100 100 ⇒ 35910 (100) (100) = (72 x + 168000) (112.5) ⇒ 8100 x = 340200000 ⇒ x = 42000

Therefore, Ravish bought the motorcycle for Rs.42000.
