To find- tarpaulin required to make a shelter for the top and four sides.
Area of tarpaulin used = 2 lh+bh +lb  , where l is the length, b is the breadth and h is the height of the cube.
Length (l) = 4m
Breadth (b) = 3m
Height (h) = 2.5m
Area of tarpaulin used to make shelter for top and four sides
SA=2 lh+bh +lb   SA=2[4×2.5+3×2.5]+4×3  
SA  = 47m².
Hence, the area of tarpaulin required to make the shelter of the height of 2.5m with given dimensions is 47m².
