Detailed Solution

Raw materials are substances found naturally (such as wood or metal ores) or created by farmers or herders. These are subsequently transformed into completed goods. Cotton, for example, is a raw material grown by farmers that may be processed to manufacture cloth. While some of the raw materials used by the Harappans were locally available, many commodities such as copper, tin, gold, silver, and valuable stones had to be transported from afar. The Harappans most likely obtained copper from present-day Rajasthan and Oman in West Asia. Tin, which was combined with copper to make bronze, could have come from modern-day Afghanistan or Iran.
