(i) From the bar graph:

In 1989, number of books sold is 175.

in 1990, number of books sold is 475.

In 1992, number of books sold is 225.

(ii) About 475 books were sold in 1990 and about 225 books were sold in 1992.

(iii) In 1989 and 1992, fewer than 250 books were sold.

(iv) Scale is given: 1 unit = 100 books

So, $\frac{3}{4} of 100 = 75$

hence, number of books were estimated as:

$100 + 75 = 175$
