Since humans appeared on the earth, they have used different means of communication. But, the pace of change has been rapid in modern times. Long-distance communication is far easier without the physical movement of the communicator or receiver. Personal communication and mass communication, including television, radio, press, films, etc., are the major means of communication in the country. The Indian postal network is the largest in the world. It handles parcels as well as personal written communications. Cards and envelopes are considered first-class mail and are airlifted between stations covering land and air. The second-class mail includes book packets, registered newspapers and periodicals. They are carried by surface mail, covering land and water transport. Six mail channels have been introduced recently to facilitate quick delivery of mail in large towns and cities. They are called Rajdhani Channel, Metro Channel, Green Channel, Business Channel, Bulk Mail Channel and Periodical Channel.

Detailed Solution

Personal and mass communication are the country's two major modes of communication.
The Personal Communication System allows the user to make direct contact. Personal communication refers to the sharing of information between persons. Postal and telegraph services, telephone, cellphone, SMS messages, fax, internet, e-mail, and so on are all included.
Millions of individuals can receive information simultaneously due to mass communication. Mass communication makes people aware of education, national programs, and policies. Radio, television, newspapers, magazines, books, and films are all included in mass communication. People can receive information from Mass Communication Systems in two ways.
