The image of Bharat Mata was the symbol of the Indian nation, as the image of Germania was the symbol of the German nation. Abanindranath Tagore painted a portrait of Bharat Mata in 1905. Bharat Mata's picture shows the mother figure sharing food and school clothes. Moreover, a flower wreath, on the other hand, emphasises her Asian quality. Bharat Mata is portrayed as a calm, divine, built-up, godly, and spiritual lady. In the following years, the image of Bharat Mata was painted by various artists and thus acquired different forms and symbols.
