Total number of youngsters surveyed in the locality = 100%

Total number of youngsters liked only cricket = 80

Percentage of the youngsters liked only football = 45%

Percentage of the youngsters liked both cricket and football = 5%

Percentage of the youngsters liked neither cricket nor football = 10%

Percentage of the youngsters like atleast one subject 

= Total youngsters – younger donot like any Game  $=100\%-10\%=90\%$

                                                                                    $90\%=80+45\%+5\%$

                                                                                     $90\%=80+50\%$

                                                                                    $80=40\%$

                                                                                  $\therefore 100\%=200$

Total no of youngsters = 200

Only football $=45\%of200$

                        $=\frac{45}{100}\times 200\Rightarrow 90$
