Red Data Book is maintained by International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN).

Species that are endangered are listed in the Red Data Book, a conservation guide. In order to focus on conservation efforts and raise awareness of these species' dwindling populations, it offers information on the status, distribution, and habitat of these species. The book is frequently updated to reflect changes in species numbers and status by IUCN. 

IUCN is dedicated to preserving nature and its diversity. It is the oldest and biggest global environmental network, having been founded in 1948.
