Detailed Solution

Reforms were introduced by Napoleon by Napoleonic and civil codes.
The Napoleonic or French civil code, which came into force in March 1804, is another name for the 1804 civil code. The 19th century's most important civil code was that one which Napoleons introduced. All male citizens are treated equally under the code, hereditary nobility and class privilege are eliminated, and civilian institutions are liberated from government control. The inviolability of private property and personal freedom of contract are essential principles. The law of persons is covered in the first book of the code. The regulation of property rights and the law of things are topics covered in the second book. The third volume discusses how to acquire rights, and the code governs some nominated contracts in the last chapters.
