Detailed Solution

The right to move freely in the confined space was an understanding of Swaraj for plantation workers.
The notion of Swaraj had no definite interpretation. It propounded different interpretations. It meant different for various sections of society. The idea of Gandhian Swaraj was taken differently by the plantation workers of Assam as well. Workers were employed in the tea plantation and had no freedom to move in and out of a confined space. They believed swaraj to be the freedom to move in and out based on their will. They also believed that after swaraj, they were free.
