Rolling friction and kinetic friction are not the same.
Rolling friction is the resistance to a body's motion as it rolls over the surface of another body.

Kinetic friction is defined as a force that acts between moving surfaces. A body moving on the surface experiences a force in the opposite direction of its movement.

Since both are moving friction the difference between rolling and kinetic friction is confusing.  But kinetic friction is actually used for sliding objects and rolling friction is produced when objects are rolled.
