Given that romila appeared for Mathematics exam. She was given 100 problems to solve.  Anyhow she scored 85.
By using the given information make the linear equations in two variables then solve them.
Let the number of right questions = x and the number of wrong questions = y
According to question
x+y=100............. 1  
Her score was calculated by subtracting two times the number of wrong answers from the number of correct answers.
x − 2y = 85 ....... 2  
By subtracting eq. (2) from (1), we get
3y=15 y=5   Substitute the value of y in eq. (1), we get
x = 95  
So the number of right questions = 95
So, romila solved 95 problems correctly.
Therefore, option 3 is correct.
