Rowlatt Act was introduced in the year 1919. This act permits the Britishers to jail protestors while not an effort for upto a pair of years. This act forced the government to extend their grip on power over the common people. The act was passed as per the advice of the Rowlatt committee chaired by a British decide state capital Rowlatt. in an exceedingly response to the current act Gandhiji organised a nationwide hartal and known as it Rowlatt Satyagraha. Within the protest of this act 2 widespread leaders of Punjab were inactive named-Satyapal and Saifudin Kitchlow.
