Given,
Rs 2000 is divided among P, Q, R in the ratio 2: 3: 5.
Then,

⇒ 2 x + 3 x + 5 x = 2000

⇒ 10 x = 2000

⇒ x = 200

Then,

⇒ 2 x = 2 × 200 ⇒ 2 x = 400

⇒ 3 x = 3 × 200 ⇒ 3 x = 600 ⇒ 5 x = 5 × 200 ⇒ 5 x = 1000

Hence, the sum divided among P, Q, R is Rs 400, Rs 600 and Rs 1000.
Thus, Q gets Rs. 600.
