Given that,
Amount divided among children = Rs. 4,900
Total number of children = 150.
Amount each girl got = Rs. 50.
Amount each boy got = Rs. 25.
Considering number of boys as 'x' and number of girls as 'y'.
Form equation according to the question,

x + y = 150

….(1)

25 x + 50 y = 4900

….. (2)
Multiply equation (1) by

50 .

50 x + 50 y = 7500 \dots \dots \dots \dots . .

(3)
Subtract equation (2) from equation (3)

50 x + 50 y - (25 x + 50 y) = 7500 - 4900

\Rightarrow 50 x - 25 x + 50 y - 50 y = 2600

\Rightarrow 25 x = 2600

\Rightarrow x = 104

Thus, the number of boys is 104.
Hence, option 2 is correct.
