Detailed Solution

Rubber is grown in the states of Kerala and Tamil Nadu in a moist and humid climate.
Rubber is a raw material for industries that might be used to manufacture numerous products. This includes tires, belts, footwear, and many others, and India is the fourth leading manufacturer of rubber. The chief rubber cultivation areas are Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Garo hills of Meghalaya, Andaman, and the Nicobar Islands. Rubber is an equatorial crop, but it can also be grown in tropical and subtropical areas as it needs a temperature above 25°C and a moist and humid climate with more than 200 cm rainfall. Though it is cultivated extensively, rubber manufacturing appears to be declining over the past couple of years as people move to other more profitable cultivations.
