Detailed Solution

Sarojini Naidu and Manilal Gandhi took part in the salt march at Dharasana.
Defiance of the regulations swept across the nation after Gandhi symbolically broke the salt prohibitions at Dandi. Students, women, tribal members, small-time traders, labourers, and peasants from all walks of life participated in CDM. Under the direction of various authorities, salt laws were also disobeyed in several regions. C. Rajagopalachari in Tamil Nadu, K. Kelappan in Malabar, Sarojini Naidu and Manilal Gandhi at the Dharasana Salt Works led the Salt Satyagraha (Gujarat). A massive police force with steel-tipped lathis pummelling non-resisting Satyagrahis (protesters) until they fell, while a group of 2000 volunteers defied the salt laws at the Dharasana salt plant, which is notable for the scope of its peaceful resistance. The movement for civil disobedience was put to a halt by the Gandhi-Irwin accord. It was signed on March 5th, 1931, by Mahatma Gandhi and Lord Irwin, India's Viceroy.
