Detailed Solution

"Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan" aims at providing elementary education to all children of age group 6-14 years.
The Government of India launched the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, also known as SSA, as a free and mandatory -education program for kids between the ages of 6 and 14. In India, the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) program is the most effective educational initiative ever. It was started in 2001 to fulfil the objective of universalizing elementary education in the nation as part of the Ninth Five-Year Plan (1997-2002). The goal of making elementary education universal is being pursued through a time-bound initiative of the federal government, in collaboration with the states, the local government, and the community. To boost enrollment in elementary school, back-to-school camps and bridge courses have been implemented. A mid-day meal program has been implemented to promote attendance, keep kids in school, and improve their nutritional status. These government policies could increase India's literacy rate and promote the country's economic growth.
