Detailed Solution

Satyagrah was fasting in which the person protests against any particular regulation or demand for a specific agreement. It was a passive political resistance policy. Satyagrah was a type of protest for truth and non-violence. Gandhiji in Africa first started satyagraha. Champaran satyagraha was the first satyagraha of Gandhiji in Bihar state of India. It was against the Ttinkathia system. Britishers imposed it for the cultivation of Indigo (dye). In this satyagraha, many Indians joined the protest with Gandhi.
