Sawaj Raja Jai Singh is known for building the city of Jaipur and the construction of astronomical observatories. Jai Singh II, a Hindu Rajput king who eventually built the walled city of Jaipur and proclaimed it his new headquarters, ruled the Amber Kingdom. He was born in Amber, the Kachwahas's capital. When he was 11 years old, Maharaja Bishan Singh, who had been the monarch of Amber, passed away on December 31, 1699. Rajasthan was established on November 18, 1727, by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, and Jaipur is the state capital. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh was the Rajput king of the Amber Kingdom, afterwards known as Jaipur. He was an expert town planner, scholar, and mathematician.
