Sectors which are not registered by the government are called unorganised sectors.
Unorganised sectors comprise all privately owned enterprises that are not registered with the government. There are several disadvantages of working in this sector:
1)      The wages are less, and this leads to the exploitation of workers.
2)      There are no rules and regulations that these sectors have to follow as they are not registered by the government. Moreover, the government cannot control them as they are small and scattered units.
3)      There are no provisions in place for overtime, provident fund, gratuity and pension.
4)      There is a high degree of insecurity and people are asked to leave anytime.
