The Leydig cells or interstitial cells present in the interstitial spaces between the seminiferous tubules produce male sex hormones called androgens.

The principal androgen is testosterone. FSH is secreted by the adenohypophysis.

Sertoli cells secrete inhibin.

Insulin is secreted by beta cells of the islets of pancreas.

Alpha cells secrete glucagon.

Thyroxine is secreted by the follicular cells of the thyroid gland.
