The correct route for the passage of sperms in male frogs is:
Testes  Vasa efferentia  Kidney  Bidder's canal  Urinogenital duct  Cloaca
Each testis in frog is composed of numerous seminiferous tubules. They are connected to 10-12 vasa efferentia, which emerge from testis and enter the kidneys of their side. In kidneys, these open into Bidder’s
canal, which fi nally communicates with the urinogenital duct through the transverse canals, which comes out of the kidneys and opens into the cloaca.
(1) The sperms enter from urinogenital duct into seminal vesicles but not vice versa. Each urinogenital duct distally expands to form a seminal vesicle, where the sperms are stored until they are ejected out during copulation.
(2) In the male, the ureter is termed urinogenital duct since it carries both sperms and urine.
(4) Vasa efferentia do not arise from the kidneys; they arise from the testes.
