Spermatogenesis occurs in the seminiferous tubules. The seminiferous tubules open into a network called rete testis. Vasa efferentia carry the sperms from the rete testes to the epididymis. A vas deferens arises from the epididymis. The terminal part (ampulla) of vas deferens and the duct of seminal vesicle join to form an ejaculatory duct. The ejaculatory ducts open into the urethra. The urethra opens out by the external urethral meatus.
