Detailed Solution

The Parliament enacted all of the laws mentioned above for the welfare of women.
Women have been marginalized since time immemorial. Feminist movements have aimed to achieve equal status to that men. However, to bridge the gap, the Parliament of India has enacted laws:
1)      Special Marriage Act, 1955: A marriage can be done between two individuals irrespective of their caste. Groom must be of 21 years, and the bride must be of 18 years.
2)      Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961: It makes dowry demand illegal. And if any woman is harassed for dowry, the act is liable as a cognizable offence.
3)      Equal Remuneration Act, 1976: Propounds for equal wages for equal jobs for women and men.
