Detailed Solution

Seven-party Alliance (SPA) was active in Nepal. The Seven Party Alliance was a coalition of seven Nepali political parties seeking to end autocratic rule in the country. This alliance enclosed some huge parties that had some members in Parliament. However, the SPA wasn't the sole organisation behind this mass upsurge. The protest was joined by the Nepalese Communist Party (Maoist), which didn't believe in the republic. This party was involved in an armed conflict with the Asian nation's government and had established control over large portions of Nepal. The alliance included the Nepali Congress, Asian Nation Employees and Peasants Party, Communist Party of Asian Nation (Unified Marxist-Leninist), Nepali Congress (Democratic), United Left Front, Asian Nation Goodwill Party (Anandi Devi), and People's Front. These seven parties successfully secured 194 out of the 205 seats that were allotted in the 1999 Nepalese legislative elections.
