Detailed Solution

Shah Jahan’s audience halls were specially constructed to resemble a mosque. The idea of the king as a representative of God on earth was presented through these architectural features. Qibla was the word that was frequently used to describe the pedestal on which his throne was placed. Qibla also refers to the direction the Muslims face at prayer since everybody faces that direction when the court is in session. The audience hall was built to convey that the king's justice would treat everyone equally and create a world in which everyone could coexist peacefully.
