Shikaripuri Shroffs were Banking groups. Small farmers required funds during this period of globalisation to produce food for the entire world. The Shikaripuri Shroffs and Nattukottai Chettiars, among others, are Indian businessmen and bankers who stepped in to help. Groups of financiers and business people called the Shikaripuri Shroffs and the Nattukottai Chettiars. They borrowed money from European banks or used their finances to finance export agriculture in Central and Southeast Asia. They used a sophisticated method to transmit money to several places. Many of them also founded ethnically-based business organisations. Therefore, other Indian financiers aided Indian farmers in this way.
