Given, Shyama bought 5 kg 300 g apples and 3 kg 250 g mangoes.

1 k g = 1000 g

⇒ 1 g = 11000 k g

Therefore, total fruit quantity that Shyama bought is

5 k g 300 g + 3 k g 250 g = 8 k g 550 g = 8 k g + 550 × 11000 k g = 8.550 kg

And, Sarala bought 4 kg 800 g oranges and 4 kg 150 g bananas.
Therefore, total fruit quantity that Shyama bought is

4 k g 800 g + 4 k g 150 g = 8 k g 850 g = 4 k g 800 g + 4 k g 150 g = 8 k g 850 g = 8 k g + 950 × 11000 k g = 8.950 kg
