Simon's commission was a statutory commission sent to India by the Tory government in Britain under Sir John Simon to monitor the functioning of the constitutional system of India under Britain's government and suggest any changes if needed. But as soon as this commission arrived in India, it was met with a massive revolt from the Indians named 'Simon Go Back. First, it was opposed by the Indians because this commission only included leaders from Britain, and no Indian leaders were given any chance to be a part of it. And the second reason was the swaraj that the Indians demanded was not being provided to the Indians.
