Citric acid cycle is also called as TCA(tricarboxylic acid cycle ) cycle . Actually two pyruvic acids are forming at the end of glycolysis . Pyruvic acid undergoes oxidative decarboxylation and forms acetyl CO-A. If one acetyl CO-A enters into TCA cycle ,there will be formation of 3NADH2,1FADH2 and one GTP .
