Detailed Solution

Social Contract was written by Rousseau. Jean-Jacques Rousseau's 1762 book The Social Contract, originally titled On the Social Contract; or, Principles of Political Right, theorized about the best way to create a political community in the face of the issues with the commercial society that he had already identified in his Discourse on Inequality (1755). Political reforms or revolutions throughout Europe, particularly in France, were influenced by the Social Contract. The Social Contract argued against the notion that kings had the divine right to pass laws.
