4 x + \frac{6}{y} = 15

can be written as:

4 x + \frac{6}{y} = 15

\Rightarrow \frac{4 xy + 6}{y} = 15

\Rightarrow 4 xy + 6 = 15 y . . . . . . . . . (1)

The equation

6 x - \frac{8}{y} = 14

can be written as:

6 x - \frac{8}{y} = 14

\Rightarrow \frac{6 xy - 8}{y} = 14

\Rightarrow 6 xy - 8 = 14 y . . . . . . . . . (2)

Multiply the equation (1) by
