Some areas of Jammu and Kashmir occupied by Pakistan and China have not been surveyed for land use. These areas include Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), occupied by Pakistan in 1947. On the other side, China occupied the part of Ladakh named Aksai-Chin. Aksai Chin is an extension of the Tibetan plateau in the westward direction. That is why these areas of Jammu and Kashmir, the states of North East India, except the state of Assam, have also not been surveyed for land use.
