Detailed Solution

Sometimes, the shadow of an object is not formed because the object is transparent.
A shadow is formed when an object comes in a path of light and blocks it, the space behind the object where no light reaches becomes a dark spot known as a shadow. If the object does not block the light and allow it to pass through it, it will not form any shadow. The objects that allow light to pass through them completely are known as transparent objects, therefore transparent objects do not form any shadow.
