Detailed Solution

Given: Total money = ₹990

The ratio of money divided between Ved and Vansh = 5 : 6

Let the money received by Ved = 5x

Money received by Vansh = 6x

∴ 5x + 6x = 990

⇒ 11x = 990

⇒ x = 90

Therefore, money received by Ved = 5x = 5(90) = ₹450

Money received by Vansh = 6x = 6(90) = ₹540

Therefore, Vansh gets more money.
