Spinning Jenny was devised by James Hargreaves in 1764.
England in the 18th century evidenced a phenomenon that structured the modern world. This phenomenon was called industrialization. Due to industrialization, new industries sprang up, and new machines were invented rapidly. However, these machines were very efficient in working and took less time than humans. Due to these machines, companies were also making high profits. But due to these new inventions of machines, people and workers were losing their jobs. One the such machine was the Spinning Jenny, invented by James Hargreaves in 1764. against this newly invented machine, women working by hand; Jenny protested because it would vanish their jobs.
