Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
Sri Aurobindo (born Aurobindo Ghose; 15 August 1872 – 5 December 1950) was an Indian philosopher, yogi, Maharishi, poet, and nationalist. He was also a journalist, editing newspapers such as Bande Mataram. He joined the Indian movement for independence from British colonial rule until 1910, being one of its influential leaders, later becoming a spiritual reformer, presenting his vision of human progress and spiritual evolution. In Pondicherry, Sri Aurobindo developed a spiritual practice called Integral Yoga. The central theme of his vision is the evolution of human life into divine life in a divine body. He believes in a spiritual realisation that not only liberates but transforms human nature, enabling divine life on earth. In 1926, the Sri Aurobindo Ashram was founded with the help of her spiritual collaborator, Mirra Alfassa (known as "The Mother").
